List of Pregnancy/Baby Freebies

That's right, I'm having a baby! Let's all just take a moment to breath, and think soothing thoughts. I wasn't ever sure if I wanted to be a mom, but I did know I totally wanted to be a grandma. Weird, right.

Anyways, moral of the story is, I met a fantastic guy, we fell in love, bought a house, got married, and are now planning on having our first child. We are due in November and I have NO IDEA what I am doing. We are actually signed up for a birthing class this weekend. Both of our parents live near us, so I'm sure we will have lots of support. I am also one of the last of my friends to get pregnant which means I get tons of advice (and baby stuff) from all different angles.

The baby has become quite an obsession of mine. I have four different boards on pinterest in regards to her. I thought getting through most of these pins before she gets here was a good idea so I've dedicated Wednesdays to the baby.

Today's post is on freebies! YAY.

So below is a list of the freebies I found on her site, as well as some others I have come across. Feel free to visit her blog: www.thriftyfamilyfinds.com. A lot of the info is for coupons or sales- but still if you are a shopper, she's got the baby info!

1. Carseat Canopy: get a free* carseat canopy when you use the code 0f4bcf. I got the one named belle- super cute! I will say this is much cheaper than buying one from the store- I can handle paying $13 for shipping/handling (hence the asterisk behind free).Or use the code and upgrade to the whole caboodle 5 pc set for $29.95 + shipping/handling.

Free Carseat Canopy (a $ 50.00 Value) at CarseatCanopy.com, use Promotion Code 0f4bcf TODAY!

2. Nursing Pillow: get a free* Nursing pillow when you use the code 0f4bcf. I got the one in the picture! I love the black and white print. Once again-much cheaper than buying it from the store. I had looked at registering for just the pillow and it was $30. That did not include the slip cover, those were about $15. Shipping is still $12.90. You can get a "minky" pillow for only $5 more.
Free Nursing Pillow (a $ 40.00 Value) at NursingPillow.com, use Promotion Code 0f4bcf TODAY!

3. Nursing Cover from Udder Covers: Free* nursing cover when you use the code 0f4bcf. I bought the yellow one. I don't know if I'll ever use it- but I'm sure the day I'm in that position in public, I'm going to be glad I have it. Once again, shipping does cost $11.90. They do gift sets as well- which include nursing pads and a nursing bracelet (to remember which side you should start nursing on) for only $5 more. Once again- not a bad price!
Free Nursing Covers (a $ 35.00 Value) at UdderCovers.com, use Promotion Code 0f4bcf TODAY!

4. Baby Carrier from Seven Slings: Free* baby carrier when you use the code 0f4bcf. Make sure you use their size chart to get the proper fit. They also have size fit insurance in case it needs to be exchanged for the right size within two weeks of receiving the original sling. Want something extra special- get the gift set with a matching set of baby leg warmers and either a diaper pod or a cuff bracelet for $7 more.

5. Target Baby Registry: Get a welcome packet when you start a baby registry with them. We went and did it after we found out if we were having a boy or girl, and it was a pretty neat little pack. I guess each pack is different but in ours we got a tommee tippee bottle and coupons, a huggies newborn diaper, a trial sample of Aquaphor, a target coupon book with over $65 in savings, a $20 shutterfly coupon, Lansinoh disposable nursing pads, and Lansinoh breastmilk storage bag.

6.Babies R Us also does a welcome pack, but being in a small town we don't have one near us.

7. Destination Maternity: They send you tons of stuff when you submit your due date to them. I ordered from them twice when I was pregnant and ended up with tons of coupons! They end up shipping your stuff in different boxes, and each box get a pack of coupons. The best thing I got from them was for Boudreaux's Paste Diaper Rash Cream. It's kinda spendy and now I have six samples of it!!

8. Mom 365: Looks like a good site. I clicked around on some of their stuff and they had some cute info. When you sign up with them you get $60 in coupons for shutterfly, back-buddy, and mom 365 newborn photography.

9. American Baby: get a free subscription to their magazine. I signed up awhile ago, and just got my first issue. It had some great information in it. Well worth it being free! In case you are curious, this is the same group that produces parents- which is another wonderful magazine. I worked at a pediatrics clinic and even though I didn't have kids, I still flipped through it and found some awesome stuff.

10. Earth Mama's Free Birth Plan: you can check the items that you want and then they email you a copy of it to print off to give to your care providers. This form is in-depth! Also on this site I found a free ebook on herbs and breast milk, free e-cards, and a newsletter. I've never used any of their products, but I did see that they have some coupons, which is always a seller in my book.

11. Similac Strong Moms Program: I plan on breast feeding, but I'm with her on this one. If they are going to send you $20 from shutterfly- it's worth it to sign up. Also, who knows if that will work out for me, so getting some free samples just in case might be worth it. And when the baby comes, they send you other little goodies. When I clicked submit, I got to a page with another offer from Pampers to sign up with their free program.

Feel free to check this post often as I plan to update it with the more free stuff I find!
